Welcome to the fourth edition of the Femund Chess, which is also part of the Norwegian Grand Prix this year. Organized by Nordstrand Chess club.
Two separate NGP tournaments will be played, a blitz chess tournament (3 min 2 sec) on Friday evening starting at 7:30 pm, and a rapid chess tournament (20 min + 5 sec) on Saturday starting at 11:00 am.
Venue: Femund Lodge, Femundveien 3645, 2446 Elgå. 1.5 hours drive north of Trysil, two hours from Røros, 4 hours from Gardermoen. Elgå has several accommodations, a national park center and a convenience store that has what you need if you need to buy food or drinks for the weekend.
Femund Lodge has rooms, cabins, lavvoes and tent sites if you want to stay with us.

There is a convenience store 3 minutes walk away where people can buy their own groceries - great if you support the local shop! If you stay in a room at the lodge or hotel, breakfast is included, but breakfast and all other meals can also be purchased separately at the lodge -- alternatively, you can cook your own meals in the lodge's outdoor area.
The lodge has a cafe that will be open from 08.00 - 02.00, with a menu to suit, with breakfast (eggs, bacon, beans, etc.), lunch and dinner (burger, pizza, pastries, etc.) Fully licensed bar, normal serving rules.
Price per double room weekend from Friday 1:00 PM to late check-out Sunday afternoon:

NB: same price regardless of whether 1 or 2 people are staying in the room.
Prices at the lodge per cabin from Friday 1:00 PM to late check-out Sunday afternoon with up to four beds: 3600,- (that's 450 NOK per night per person if there are 4 of you, excluding bed linen (can be rented from us for 200,- per set), gas stove, coffee maker, refrigerator and wood for the wood stove). NB: minimum two people per cabin, same price; 3600,-. Festival toilet and toilet/shower in the main building in the immediate vicinity.
Package price weekend lavvo at the lodge with up to three sleeping places: 1800,- (or 300 NOK per night per person, NB: bring a sleeping bag and your own food, bedding and breakfast are not included. A bag of firewood for the fireplace is included, 120 NOK per extra bag if needed. Same price if there are 1 or 3 people in the lavvo, but if you are alone you can rent it. Festival toilet right next door, shower inside the lodge (included).
Package price for a tent space at the lodge with access to toilet and shower: 300,- per person for the entire weekend.
